A Cry for Help: Supporting Baksheesh and Nasreen in Their Fight Against Debt Slavery

Baksheesh Masih, a 55 year-old Christian man, and his wife Nasreen, who is 53, have been enslaved at a brick kiln for over 25 years due to a debt they could not repay. Baksheesh suffered a broken leg 36 years ago, and since then, he has been enduring significant suffering, making it even more challenging for him to earn a sufficient income. They work day and night to pay off their debt, but their efforts have been in vain, as their daily earnings are not even enough to cover their basic meals.

Their total debt amounts to 110,000 Pakistani Rupees, which is approximately $395 USD. They pray every day, hoping for someone to deliver them from their captors, just as Moses delivered the Israelites from Pharaoh in Egypt. This Christian couple longs for freedom from their modern slavery so they can live peacefully according to their own will and become part of their community, rather than continuing to suffer at the brick kiln.

Will you consider helping this Christian couple attain their Freedom?
