“At Good Samaritan Ministries, our faith is the foundation of everything we do. We are committed to the historic Christian faith as revealed in the Holy Scriptures.”
Six Core Beliefs
These are the theological convictions upon which Good Samaritan Ministries Pakistan stands — rooted in the historic Christian faith and the Holy Scriptures.
The Trinity
We believe in one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal, co-eternal, and fully God. The triune nature of God is the bedrock of our faith, our worship, and our mission.
The Nature of Man
We believe that humanity is created in the image of God, but has fallen through sin and stands in desperate need of redemption through Jesus Christ. Without Christ, mankind has no hope.
The Atonement
We believe Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as our substitute, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to the Father, and will return in glory.
Salvation
Salvation is the gift of God’s grace, freely given to all who repent and trust Jesus as Lord and Saviour. It is by faith alone, in Christ alone, through grace alone — not by works.
The Great Commission
Every believer is called to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, serve the poor, and demonstrate God’s love. This is not optional — it is the central calling of the Church of Jesus Christ.
The Authority of Scripture
The Bible — both Old and New Testaments — is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is the supreme guide for faith, doctrine, and practice in all matters of life and ministry.
“These beliefs are not merely theological statements — they are the convictions that send us into the hardest places in Pakistan to share the love of Jesus.”
