God Has Done It Again: New Church Land Secured in Johar Town, Lahore- Latest Praise Report for Church Planting in Pakistan!

With hearts full of gratitude and praise, Good Samaritan Ministries Pakistan joyfully announces that the land for a new church in Johar Town, Lahore has been officially secured. By God’s grace, the deal has been finalized and the full payment was completed on February 28, 2026. Truly, God has done great things!
This new church plant is a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness and a milestone in our ongoing mission of Church Planting in Pakistan-a vision that Good Samaritan Ministries has carried since 2009 under the leadership and direction of Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir.
A Joyful Celebration Among Believers
As soon as the news reached the community, hundreds of Christian families erupted in joy, worship, and thanksgiving.
Families are visiting the site with tears of gratitude, lifting hands in praise, and rejoicing for the house of The Lord being established in their area. Children are running across the land with excitement, shouting that this will be their church. Elders are giving thanks for answered prayers long held in their hearts.
This is what church planting in Pakistan looks like: lives touched, communities transformed, and The Gospel taking root through the grace of Jesus Christ.
The landowner has already given permission for our local team to clear the land and hold tent prayer meetings-a beautiful beginning to what will soon become a permanent sanctuary of worship.
A Growing Movement of Faith and Hope
Since 2009, Church Planting in Pakistan has remained a primary mission of Good Samaritan Ministries. By God’s strength and through the dedication of our teams, churches have been planted in villages, towns, and cities across Pakistan-bringing the light of Christ to countless homes.
In addition to planting churches, Good Samaritan Ministries Pakistan continues to establish Christian schools to educate children, uplift underprivileged families, and shape a new generation firmly grounded in the Word of God.
Standing in Faith for the Next Steps
The official land deal has been completed and the full payment was made on February 28, 2026, by the grace of God. The land is now fully secured and paid for!
As we move forward, we are praying that God will send the right people to stand with us to build this house of the Lord in Pakistan. We humbly ask all believers to join us in prayer for a mighty breakthrough, miracle partners, and the continuing vision of church planting across Pakistan.
What a blessed person is anyone who helps to build the House of the Lord! God will honor every sacrifice and reward every seed sown for His glory.
Land Dedicated to the Lord – First Thanksgiving Meeting!
On March 23, 2026, we dedicated this very land to the Lord and held our first thanksgiving meeting there! This may be a small piece of land in Johar Town, Lahore, but it is a great testimony of God’s faithfulness.
Hundreds of people gathered for the very first meeting – so much so that the place was completely packed, and many were sitting on the streets just to be part of the fellowship. We witnessed that people are hungry for the Word of God. There is excitement, joy, and deep gratitude among the believers, who are now praying and longing for a church building in this area.
We give all glory to our Lord JESUS Christ for making this possible!
We have the land – now we trust God for the building.
