Christmas 2023: A Season of Unprecedented Outreach
Christmas is not just a celebration for Christians in Pakistan — it is a powerful opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with a nation that desperately needs to hear it. In 2023, Good Samaritan Ministries Pakistan, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir, launched its most ambitious Christmas outreach campaign to date, organizing over 30 activities and programs dedicated to spreading the Good News and distributing Free Urdu Bibles across the country.
From the bustling streets of Lahore to the remote villages of Punjab and Sindh, our teams carried thousands of Free Urdu Bibles to share with anyone who desired to receive the Word of God. The response was overwhelming — thousands of men, women, and children received their very own copy of the Holy Bible in Urdu, many for the first time in their lives.
November 2023: Preparing for the Greatest Gift
The Christmas outreach season began in November 2023 with extensive preparation and early distribution events. Good Samaritan Ministries organized over 15 programs during November alone, including:
Gospel Crusades and Open-Air Meetings — Large gatherings were held in multiple cities where Pastor Naeem Nasir and local church leaders proclaimed the message of salvation. Free Urdu Bibles were distributed to every attendee, ensuring that each person left with the Word of God in their hands.
Village Evangelism Campaigns — Our teams traveled to remote villages across Punjab province, visiting communities that had little or no access to Christian literature. Hundreds of Free Urdu Bibles were placed into the hands of villagers who had been waiting years to own a copy of the Scriptures.
Church Planting Bible Distribution — Newly planted house churches received bundles of Free Urdu Bibles for their congregations. These Bibles became essential tools for discipleship, Bible study, and spiritual growth in communities where resources are scarce.
Women’s Ministry Programs — Special gatherings for women were organized where Free Urdu Bibles were distributed alongside teaching sessions on faith, prayer, and the role of women in the early church. Many women who attended had never been able to read the Bible for themselves.
December 2023: Thousands of Free Urdu Bibles for Christmas
December was the highlight of the Christmas outreach campaign. Good Samaritan Ministries organized over 15 additional programs throughout the month, bringing the total to more than 30 outreach activities for the season. The focus was clear: distribute as many Free Urdu Bibles as possible and share the love of Jesus Christ with everyone we could reach.
Christmas Day Celebrations — On Christmas Day, large worship gatherings were held in multiple locations. Thousands of believers and seekers came together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Free Urdu Bibles were distributed as the greatest Christmas gift — the living, eternal Word of God. The joy on the faces of recipients was a powerful testimony to the transforming power of Scripture.
Community Food Distribution and Bible Giving — In keeping with our mission of compassion, Good Samaritan Ministries combined food distribution programs with Free Urdu Bible distribution. Families living in poverty received not only physical nourishment but also spiritual nourishment through the Word of God.
Youth and Children’s Programs — Special Christmas programs were organized for young people and children. Free Urdu Bibles were given to every child and teenager who attended, planting seeds of faith that will grow for a lifetime. Many children had never seen a Bible before and were overjoyed to receive their own copy.
Persecuted Families Outreach — Good Samaritan Ministries made a special effort to reach Christian families who had suffered persecution. Many had lost their homes and belongings, including their Bibles. Receiving a new Free Urdu Bible brought comfort and hope to these families during the Christmas season.

For Pakistani Christians — a minority that makes up less than 2% of the population — owning a Bible in Urdu is often a luxury they cannot afford.
