Thousands were nourished Spiritually and Physically

THOUSANDS WERE NOURISHED

SPIRITUALLY AND PHYSICALLY

Our mission offered not only the chance to address physical necessities but also to attend to spiritual well-being. Individuals were nourished both spiritually and physically.

Global Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic

The world bore witness to and suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic that began in December 2019 and rapidly spread globally in 2020. Countless individuals, regardless of age, gender, or socioeconomic status, were tragically affected and succumbed to the virus.

Church’s Response to the Crisis

In this time of crisis, as a church, we recognized our duty to support those in need. With lockdowns in place, businesses shuttered, unemployment skyrocketing, and poverty on the rise, crime rates also increased as people became desperate. Congregants sought aid at our church, pleading for sustenance for their families amid shortages of essential items such as food, water, and groceries.

Humanitarian Efforts by Good Samaritan Ministries

Dr. Naeem Nasir, the founder of Good Samaritan Ministries, committed to providing relief by supplying food to nourish both the body and the soul. We began purchasing and distributing thousands of flour packs across Pakistan. It was during this critical period that God inspired Dr. Nasir to also spread The Gospel during Food distribution programs.

Distribution of Free Urdu Bibles

Embracing this divine calling, Dr. Nasir initiated the distribution of Free Urdu Bibles alongside the food relief initiatives throughout Pakistan. Over the course of the pandemic, our organization fed more than 20,000 individuals through our extensive food programs in various cities, towns, and villages across the nation. Moreover, we handed out over 20,000 free Urdu Bibles, which included regular Bibles, children’s versions, the New Testament, and other Christian literature.

Spiritual Outreach and Community Gratitude

Our mission provided an opportunity not only to meet physical needs but also to cater to spiritual well-being. The Christian community in Pakistan stands as a testament to the outstanding and compassionate services rendered by Dr. Naeem Nasir, which received accolades from Christians and those of other faiths alike.

Positive Outcomes in the Face of Adversity

Despite the pandemic being one of the darkest times for humanity, it also led to profound acts of kindness. Our ability to share the Gospel and welcome many into the faith demonstrated a silver lining. God’s grace allowed us to bring hope and salvation to countless souls during this challenging era.
